A diretoria corintiana acionou uma equipe jurídica para cuidar do caso e questiona a decisão da justiça em Porto Alegre de ter dado voz de prisão em flagrante a Rafael Ramos, se baseando na súmula do árbitro Bráulio da Silva Machado.
O entendimento é que o documento não traz um esclarecimento da situação e que Bráulio, inclusive, admite não ter escutado as ofensas, apenas relatando as justificativas dos dois jogadores em campo.
Após a situação, Rafael Ramos se reuniu com os demais atletas corintianos e deu para eles a palavra que em nenhum momento foi racista com Edenílson ou teve a intenção.
Familiares do jogador português ficaram indignados com as acusações contra o lateral. Segundo informações apuradas pelo LANCE!, um deles até mesmo disse que se o ato de racismo de Ramos fosse comprovado, seria o primeiro a vir ao Brasil puni-lo, tamanho a confiança que a educação dada ao jogador faz com que ele não tenha cometido ato racista algum.
Rafael Ramos está digerindo a repercussão dada ao caso e tentando manter a calma, mas, também de acordo com o que foi colhido pelo L!, está bastante chateado por ter sido rotulado por algo que garante não ter feito.

How much Rangers paid for Robin Propper
One area which Clement needed to bolster during the summer was the Light Blues’ defensive options. Connor Goldson was sold after six years in Glasgow, while Leon Balogun was likely to enter his final season at the club.
This saw the Belgian turn to Europe in order to add some reinforcements to his squad, making a move for FC Twente captain Robin Propper.
The Dutchman had played over 200 times in the Eredivisie throughout his career, so it was clear the 31-year-old was experienced enough to take over from Goldson at the heart of the Gers defence.
Clement didn’t exactly have the biggest budget to play with, yet he managed to secure Propper’s signature for a fee in the region of just £1.5m due to a clause in his contract.
On the surface, it appeared to be a smart piece of business, yet after a few months, the centre-back hasn’t quite performed at his best for the Light Blues.

Question marks still surround Propper and his performances of late haven’t exactly convinced the Ibrox faithful that he is the right choice to be the leader in the heart of their defence.
Should the Gers have gone all out for a transfer target in 2023 who is now starring in the Champions League? Rather than wait another year for Goldson’s inevitable decline and having to replace him within a matter of weeks.
Auston Trusty was someone Michael Beale wanted, yet he ended up joining Celtic this summer.

Beale faced a similar conundrum to Clement during his first summer transfer window in charge, as a major rebuild was required at Ibrox.
One area which needed some overhauling was the defence, which led the Englishman to add several targets from down south to his list.
Trusty was one name that appeared quite frequently. In May 2023, the then Arsenal starlet was linked with a move to Ibrox, with the club reportedly even submitting a bid in July to secure his signature.
He ended up joining Sheffield United for the 2023/24 campaign, ensuring he got some first-team football in the Premier League.
It looked like the boat had sailed with regard to signing him during the summer, with Celtic eventually securing a deal for the defender, spending £6m to bring him north of the border.
The move looks like an inspired one, that’s for sure.
How Auston Trusty compares to Propper
Hailed by former teammate George Friend for being “incredible”, Trusty has shone for the Parkhead side during his first few months in Scotland, especially in the Champions League.
The American has played in all four of Celtic’s European games so far this season, as they have recorded two wins, a draw and a solitary defeat to Borussia Dortmund.
Across three starts in Europe’s premier club competition, Trusty has succeeded with a staggering 96% of his passes, has been dribbled past just 0.3 times per game, won 4.5 total duels per game – a success rate of 62% – and has also lost possession just 2.3 times per match, showcasing his class on the biggest stage of all.
Compare these stats to Propper’s from the Europa League mentioned earlier, and they are night and day, with Trusty looking like the real deal in Europe.
Signing a competent defender can make all the difference when performing in continental competition.
This is one area in which Clement has struggled, and it is clear the Ibrox side blundered massively by failing to sign Trusty back in 2023.
Of course, the £5m asking price that Arsenal demanded was clearly too much for the club. Instead, they splashed money on players such as Sam Lammers, Cyriel Dessers and Danilo instead.
It remains to be seen what the Gers will do in the January window, especially as Balogun enters the final six months of his contract. With the midfield improving after every game while Cerny and Nedim Bajrami settle in nicely, might another defender be signed?
If they can land someone similar to Trusty, then the second half of the season may see a change in fortunes, no doubt about that.

وتواصل بطولات مع المدير الرياضي لنادي سينت ترويدن، أندريه بينتو، لمعرفة حقيقة الأمر، وقال: “لقد حصلنا على استفسار رسمي فقط من قبل نادي الشمال بالفعل للتعاقد مع بلعيد”.
وتابع: “لكن لا زلنا في مراحل مبكرة من المفاوضات، ولن نتسرع في بيع اللاعب، لأننا لا نستبعد أيضًا بقاءه، ولا نريد أن نقوم بمزاد بدخول أندية أخرى أو ندخل في بعض الألاعيب”.
واستمر: “الاستفسار الرسمي الوحيد كان من الشمال القطري، ليس هناك أي شيء آخر من أي نادٍ حتى من الأهلي، لكن بعض الوكلاء يحاولون التحدث عن أكثر من نادٍ دون تحرك ملموس”.
وواصل: “كما قلت لك، لسنا في عجلة من أمرنا لبيع بلعيد، والشمال أرسلوا لنا الاستفسار لمعرفة طلبنا بشأن قيمة الصفقة، وننتظر ردهم حاليًا، ولن يُباع إلا بسعر جيد، لقد قمنا بمجهود كبير للغاية من أجل التعاقد مع اللاعب، ونعتقد أن حتى في حالة بقاءه سيكون أفضل خاصة في التأقلم مع الأجواء المحيطة في النادي”.
وعن عقوبة اللاعب بسبب وفاة والده وعدم التزامه وسفره الدائم إلى الجزائر: “لقد مر بفترة عصيبة بعد ما حدث لوالده، ونحن غيرنا المدرب وفضل الجديد أن يعتمد على اللاعبين الذين كانوا يشاركون بالفعل، ونحن ندرك أيضًا مدى حاجته لبعض الوقت للتأقلم في ثقافة ولغة جديدة”.

England Test batter Dan Lawrence hit the game’s only half-century so far – a cautious 61 – as Essex claimed a slender advantage at the halfway point of their LV= Insurance County Championship clash with Yorkshire.During a sunny second day at Headingley, Lawrence reached 50 for only the fifth time in all cricket during a summer beset by injury as Essex replied to Yorkshire’s first-innings 134 with 225.No other batter from either side has yet raised their bat in a bowler-dominated Division One fixture, though young Yorkshire opener Fin Bean is closing in having reached close unbeaten on 41 out of 87 for two from 27.4 overs of their second innings.The hosts, who trail by four, fought hard with ball and then bat to stay in the hunt for only a second win in 2022. But they lost George Hill caught at slip in the day’s final over.Yorkshire enjoyed a useful morning followed by a super start to the afternoon, with Essex falling to 105 for six.Jordan Thompson claimed the first two wickets to fall and later finished with four for 60, while new ball partner Ben Coad’s first of two wickets was the 200th of his first-class career.Thompson uprooted Nick Browne’s off stump with his first ball, at the start of the day’s second over, before ousting Tom Westley as the first of five lbws in the first six wickets.Steve Patterson also trapped Sir Alastair Cook in front for 23 as the former England captain played back to one which skidded through.It was the seventh time in the last seven Championship games the two have been playing that Patterson has removed the left-hander.Essex reached lunch at 79 for three from 33 overs.
